White-throated Sparrow
The White-throated Sparrow is a familiar winter visitor across Pennsylvania, known for its crisp white throat patch and bright yellow spot between the eye and bill. Listen closely in the woods or backyard and you might hear its sweet whistled song often remembered as “Oh-sweet-Canada-Canada.” These sparrows spend the colder months with us before migrating north to breed in the boreal forests of Canada. #WhiteThroatedSparrow #BirdsOfPennsylvania #Birdwatching #BackyardBirds #F
